Read more homely and extremely well maintained. The food was delicious and some recipes were from the owners grandmother. The hosts are really friendly and take good care of their guests. Shady the cat and Jinny the dog love humans and are a delight to be around. It's a place where you can relax, sleep for hours. It's situated deep in the plantations of balupet so there's not a sound. Clean and crisp air. Lots of space to do great walks. Lots of pretty birds for birders. Did I say the food was great?!. Anyway anyone who is looking for a weekend get away, I'd recommend this one. 3.5 hr drive from Bangalore on a good 4 lane road, 20 km on a divider less road.

We relished the food sitting next to a bonfire. Overall, an amazing and memorable experience. With only 3.5 hours drive from Bangalore it’s an excellent getaway for a family weekend. One can just lounge around with a steaming cuppa or there are enough places around the area, worth exploring. The Shettihalli Gothic church ruins are worth a visit.
